Get apps & digital content for Android

You can get apps, games, and digital content for your device from the Google Play Store. Some content is free, some content you’ll need to buy.

Open the Google Play Store app .
- Note: you can also go to play.google.com.
Search or browse for content.
Select an item.
Tap Install (for free items) or the item's price.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the transaction and get the content.

For paid items, you can choose your payment method with the Down arrow

. If it's your first time making a purchase, your payment method will be added to your Google Account.

You can change what language is displayed when you visit Google Play on your computer by changing your Google Accounts settings.

Note: Apps are designed for use with supported Android devices and can't be used on your computer.

Apps and games will be installed on your device. You can find them with your other apps.
